The Strange Party have been around a long time in Sac, but I only recently “discovered” them. They are my favorite Sacramento band right now. I was really excited to see the Mean Jeans and they did not disappoint. They were incredibly gracious- they were so happy to get the 3 camera Kepi Ghoulie DVD that they appeared on last year. This show was excellent- the audio quality is a bit lacking, but that is not due to recording equipment- Jason has Schoeps MKIV’s that we mixed into this. Even with the club sound being less than stellar, it was a lot of fun. Thanks to Agelos and Bong for mixing the cameras!!
