So I found this video for sale in one of our local COOL record shops. I checked with Jim McLain and was surprised to hear that it appears to be uncirculated! What a find!
The camera performs some extreme light adjustment when shotting skid (and the Old I lighted sign) and other members away from the light. It’s cool once you get used to it.

Happy 2024 everyone, here is another bay area-based band performing live in the KALX studio. It looks like they put out a couple of releases on my ex-brother in law’s label, Sympathy for the Record Industry. Cool- I had not heard them before this. Hopefully Rick will see this post, since he is off enjoying the weather in Australia! I am not jealous at all.

This might be their only show at Gilman- the list has nothing, not even this show. Had to dig into newspaper dot com archives to find a listing.

Jesse Davis just posted this video that Dan Nicholson (R.I.P.) shot back in 1997. I am sure some friends and family were at the show. Wow- they played the Memorial in 97? What happened to arena rock?
